Designed and constructed by Ashlynn Bennett, Monstruo is a thesis collection inspired by literature and emotionalism evoked from imagery. The title, Monstruo, is a reference to the book Hot Milk by Deborah Levy. This book was the core of Monstruo’s conceptual inspiration. Along with the book, Ashlynn turned to mood imagery that conveyed a sense of arid and elevated travel. Below is a collection of images showing the inspiration, process, and final looks 001-005.
