Designed by Ashlynn Bennett, Capitana is a digital collection inspired by the featured image of her grandmother. Capitana is a resort collection and draws upon sailing, fishing, and nauticalilty. Featured to the left is an image of my grandmother, Linda Jones, circa 1960’s. She is second from the left. The collection’s name, Capitana, comes from the sign in the featured photo and the symbolism of power that strong women can possess.
